End of June Devlog + Night 2 Teaser

Hello!

Development is going very smoothly, and Now I'm a fair bit into Night 3, I can say with some confidence that the release date will be on the 16th of July. This gives me enough time to finish the final night and begin play testing.

I'll also want to point something out, which is that this whole game is fairly ambitious in comparison to my game development skill, so there will be bugs, especially in the upcoming nights, but hopefully, these will be fixed in time. This game is also incredibly unoptimised, with currently no plans to change anything in future. Night 2 is a particular culprit for being laggy, however, keep to the minimum spec listed on the front page and it should all work fine. I've experienced heavy lag using an FX-8350 paired with a GTX 960, so anything better than that will work. I believe the game to be more CPU intensive, so apologies to anyone with older CPU's.

I also may point out a few things that I either have no plans to change, or will not be changing. One of these is a particular glitch relating to the mouse movement, as ever since I included a sensitivity slider, I've noticed that sometimes the mouse can glitch and 'jerk' the player's head. I've experienced this a lot, however it appears to be tied to framerate for some reason. I may look into it, however I have no plans of fixing it currently. I'm also not sure if I mentioned this, but there also won't be a volume slider, as this would require re-importing some sound assets as each sound uses slightly different volumes which would be difficult to attach to a single volume slider, again, my development skill is low.

I'll be updating this itch.io page in the coming weeks to reflect the newer version of the game.

To end this post on a high-note, I wanted to create a small (horribly made) teaser for Night 2, to keep interest for the game high, so remember: July 16th! Here's the teaser:
